The present chart addresses issues relating to the Corpus Juris Spatialis becoming at a continually increasing rate out-of-date in the light of the development of activities in outer space. It seems that international space law no further meets the requirements of a long-term sustainability of space operations. For almost half a century international space law ensured the legal order in the space area. However, the privatization, and the shift towards profit-oriented space activities is becoming a trial to the established legal environment. The expansion of the civilian application of space technologies and the globalization of the economy lays down the foundation of a new course in space activity . The international responsibility and liability under the Outer Space Treaty have forced the States to adopt national space policies in order to ensure strict adherence of their domestic space activities to the fundamental principles of the international public law.
